What to bring for warm-weather stays

Summer and fall at Perch Bay are all about time on the water, evenings outside, and easy cabin living. A few practical layers and outdoor essentials will go a long way.

  • Warm winter coat and snow pants
  • Lightweight jacket or hoodie
  • Swimsuit and beach towel
  • Closed-toe shoes or runners for trails and docks
  • Bug spray and sunscreen
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Gear for your activities, like fishing rods or hiking shoes

Youth Life Jackets

We provide life jackets with boat rentals, but youth sizes can be limited. If you’re boating with kids, please bring your own properly fitted youth life jacket.

Check our convenience store first, or make the quick five-minute drive into Kenora where you’ll find almost anything you need.

Don’t forget the bird seed

Bring a small bag of bird seed if you plan to explore the hiking trails, our songbirds are known to gather here, and some may even eat right from your hand.
