Boat & Motor Rentals

25/40 hp 4-stroke

Available May long until Thanksgiving weekend.

Boat and motor rentals are available for resort guests only. Each housekeeping cabin includes free docking for 1 boat. Additional boats are $10 per day. Dock electricity and the first 25L of gas is included. Life vests, safety kit and paddles supplied. Please bring your own yough lift vests.

There is a mandatory damage deposit of $2,000.

  • 4 Hr Rate: $160
  • Daily Rate: $250

All rentals require a waiver. Canadian guests renting a boat must have a valid boater’s licence. Guests from countries without a boater’s licence system must complete a special form and show previous experience. We also offer bait, tackle, and fishing licences on site.

Docking

Docking space for guests and seasonal boaters

Perch Bay offers guest docking as well as seasonal dock slip rentals during the boating season. It’s a convenient option for people staying at the resort or looking for accessible river access close to Kenora.

Seasonal slips available May long to Thanksgiving weekend. Option to extend for an additional fee. One vehicle parking spot is included with each slip

Boat launch fees are as follows:

  • Launch: $10
  • Daily Parking: $10
  • Weekend Pass: $30 (includes long weekends, 2 launches and 2 days of parking for 1 vehicle)
  • Season Pass: $200 (includes launch and parking for 1 vehicle)

Boat launch fees can be paid in the store or by e-transfer to reservations@perchbay.ca.

Just upstream from Lake of the Woods, the Winnipeg River offers excellent fishing, calm boating conditions, and beautiful Northern Ontario scenery. Within minutes of Perch Bay, guests can fish for walleye, smallmouth bass, northern pike, sturgeon, muskie, and more, all without needing to travel far from the docks.
